BELAR®

It is an elastic composite material made of rubber granulate bound with poly butadiene-polyurethane binder. These products have an excellent suppressing capability for vibration transfer between the source of these vibrations and the surrounding structure, which acts as “vibration insulation”., Particularly mats and boards suitable for decreasing vibrations and shocks are made from the BELAR® material. The BELAR® material is resistant to hydrolysis in hot steam, the action of water solutions of acids, alkali, salts, distilled and sea water. BELAR® is resistant to microbes, chemically neutral, harmless to health. It is not resistant to transformer oil.

BELAR® compound products and application

AR - BELAR® anti-vibrating mats

Standard dimensions: width 500 mm, length 1500 mm, thickness 10 - 50 mm. Other dimensions are possible after discussion with the Sales Department. Edges may be flat or with locks.
Volume weight is from 650 kg/m3 to 1100 kg/m3.

These mats are used as follows:

  • For construction of new and reconstruction of old railway tracks - train, tramway and underground – appropriate location in the railway bed structure will ensure limited transfer of shocks and vibrations from the rail vehicle to environment.

  • Flexible pads for noisy machines and floating machine foundations – construction structure protection against introduction of interfering vibrations from such machines.

  • HSV activities – into the building foundations to protect buildings against importation of interfering vibrations from surroundings (e.g. close to underground, railway, tramway) or from technological units installed inside (lift shafts, A/C units, diesel power units, generators, cooling towers, fans, etc.). Removal of impact noise – prefabricated stairs, terrazzo - boards, etc.

BT Side Blocks

Inside and outside section is produced in the length of 1500 mm for NT1 and Ri60 tramway rails and they are placed on both sides of a rail web. Side blocks form a part of our comprehensive system for railway transport limiting transfer of noise and vibrations from operating railway vehicle to environment and insulating rails from stray currents. We apply the system to straight track sections, crossings and exchange and drainage.

Anti-noise blocks (PHT)

Through their shape, anti-noise blocks (PHT) are designed for assembly of anti-noise wall systems. They form an absorbing portion on them, facing to a noise source.

The best results have been achieved by incorporation of our anti-noise boards to concrete panels either by casting or inserting into a groove and mounting by means of plastic bars. Very suitable PHT application is gluing to a stabilized substrate with adequate treatment of a reflecting wall to an absorbing one, or reduction of noise transfer from noisy premises / engine room / to ambient environment.

The boards are made 50 and 80 mm thick with attenuation of 6 and 13 dB. Standard dimensions are 500x500 mm, however, individual modifications are possible depending on PHT type. An anti-noise block consists of two to three layers, where the face part comprises rubber granulate. PHT are supplied in black color, required product color is achieved through application of a special UV resistant paint. Application method: roll or spray.

Be Flagstone (PD)

The flags are made of the basic BELAR® composite and they are designed for pedestrian zones or as flags for housing pavements.

Basic dimensions are 500 x 500 x 35 mm.

Marble mosaic may be provided on the face side upon a special request.

Cable trays (KL)

Cable trays produced of BELAR® composite were originally designed for coaxial cables used in radio-communications. The standard type has been designed for 4 cables of the basic dimension 500 x 250 x 70 mm with respective coverage along entire surface.

Flags made of the same composite dimensioned 500 x 500 x 40 mm are also supplied with these cable trays.

This system has been designed for roofs of sky-scrapers where cell phones antennas are installed.
