BOHEMIA
ELAST a.s.
BOHEMIA ELAST a.s. has been in existence since 13 December 1997 by registration in the Commercial Register, though composite production was commenced in 1996 by the František Mašek VKZ company, Hovorčovice, from which BOHEMIA ELAST, a.s. arose.
The composite comprising all our products is called BELAR®.
The basic philosophy of the corporation is environmental production, i.e. the assessment of secondary raw material to useful products in order to improve the environment, with the possibility of new recycling. Specifically, this is about utilisation of rubber granulate from worn car tyres, bound by liquid rubber and processed in a thermal-pressure technological process into a composite of the desired
shape.
The environmental use of these products lies in reducing the effects of noise and vibrations on the environment, on the human body that is excessively burdened by these effects of civilisation.
This factor determines our basic products:
-
Anti-vibration mats for construction and engineering
-
Anti-vibration mats for demanding constructions in road and rail transport (reconstruction of railway and streetcar tracks, during metro construction, etc.)
-
A comprehensive system of rail packing for streetcar transport against vibrations, noise, and aberrant currents -
BELAR®
-
Anti-noise blocks for the anti-noise wall system
These products are included into construction projects where these harmful effects primarily arise or into construction projects where it is only possible to secondarily decrease the consequences of these harmful effects of noise and vibrations.
The products are made on the basis of previous long-term verification tests in VÚSK Kaučuk a. s., Kralupy nad Vltavou and ITC – Zlín. The Belar material and the derived products are regularly inspected in technological production by ITC – Institut pro certifikaci a.s., Zlín
